Slovakian choir wins Vietnam International Choir Competition Grand Prize

Cantica Collegium musicum from Slovakia, directed by Štefan Sedlický, was awarded the Grand Prize at the closing ceremony of the 2023 Vietnam International Choir Competition in Hoi An on 5 April. The choir also won the Sacred Choral Music category of the event.

The competition was the seventh edition of INTERKULTUR’s Vietnam event, a key fixture in the international choral calendar. 18 choirs from seven countries took part.

The jury awarded 19 Golden and 2 Silver Medals to the participating choirs.
