The organisers of the 11th edition of the Bali International Choir Festival (BICF) have announced that the forthcoming edition of the event will take place in ‘in-person’ format, after a series of online-only festivals resulting from the coronavirus pandemic.
Writing in the 2022 Festival brochure, BICF Artistic Director Tommyanto Kandisiputra says,’The possibility to gather and sing together has become possible after the implementation of national vaccinations while still implementing health protocols, concerts and competitions have started to be held in various places in Indonesia.
‘The world situation due to this pandemic still leaves question marks and worries… But the call to
continue our lives with full vigilance is a must for all of us.’
BICF 2022 runs from 24-28 July and registration is open now. Visit the BICF website for further information.
