Celebrate the Coronation in style! This extended singing weekend in Faro (think sun, Ria Formosa and wildlife) culminates in a performance with orchestra of Haydn’s Missa in angustiis (the ‘Nelson’ Mass) and Handel’s Zadok the Priest.
This is a really joyful and participatory way to celebrate King Charles’s Coronation, sharing the thrill of glorious choral music – our own and the wonderful programme from Westminster Abbey – in the company of fellow singers. We will live-stream the BBC coverage of the Coronation ceremony and provide a glass of something suitably sparkling for anyone who wants to toast the new King and the Queen Consort.
