Come and Sing or join us for the Lecture and Performance.
A wonderful opportunity to sing this enduring work in the beautiful church for which it was written using the new critical edition published by the RSCM.
Singing alongside the church’s own professional choir, your ticket will include:
- working with former Director of Music of the church, Gavin Roberts
- a copy of the new critical edition recently published by the RSCM
- the RSCM Annual Lecture delivered by Jeremy Dibble, editor of the new edition.

Alternatively join us for the lecture and performance, from 16.30pm
Professor Dibble’s lecture will explore the history, content, structure and performance questions of Stainer’s most famous work, as well as attempting to sum up the reasons for its extraordinary and enduring popularity.
