CHORALSPACE Choral Celebrations @BerlinPhil 2022
CHORALSPACE invites you to a true Choral Celebration program in the Grand Hall of the Berlin Philharmonie under the direction of Simon Carrington!
The program will include a.o. the Four Anthems George Frideric Handel composed for the coronation of George II of Great Britain.
Prof. Carrington is widely known as the creative force of the vocal ensemble The King’s Singers, which he co-founded, as a professor of Choral Conducting at several universities, and as a worldwide sought-after conductor.
Since its opening in 1963, the Berlin Philharmonie has been considered one of the best concert halls in the world. Who would not want to sing there?
Choirs and individual singers are welcome to join the five-day project which will also include a fringe program with concerts in some of Berlin’s most beautiful venues. Selected choirs can showcase their performance in the first part of the concert.
