54th Tolosa International Choral Competition
This annual international choral competition has been held in Tolosa since 1969 , and always around All Saints’ Day, that is, November 1st.
Its intention is to bring together the best choirs in the world , in order to make possible the exchange of styles, interpretation, choral literature, vocal education and modes of each country and, likewise, to publicize the musical and cultural tradition of the Basque Country .
Over the years, it has become one of the most important choral competitions in the world.
Until its 50th edition, more than 1,200 choirs from all over the world have participated in Tolosa.
