For centuries, the University Church has been a special place for music in the heart of Cambridge. With five choirs (including the one of the first girls' choir in England), two pipe organs, an orchestra, bell ringers, and more, we're also one of the largest performance spaces in Cambridge.
Great St Mary’s Church, Cambridge, seeks to appoint a visionary, creative and community-minded Director of Music to work inclusively with adult and children’s choirs to develop and grow the church’s musical ministry from its current high levels.
The successful applicant will work collaboratively with clergy, music colleagues and lay leaders to develop the churd’s music making, liturgically, technically and pastorally.
