2022 World Choir Festival

The World Youth and Children Choral Artists’ Association (WYCCAA) is excited to launch the 2022 World Choir Festival (Online Version) as part of the celebration of its 25th Anniversary!

About the Festival

The event is again going to be held online and is split into two Phases. Choirs & individual delegates from all over the world are welcome to participate.

• Phase 1 is the Category Competition (application deadline: 8 May 2022), judged by a panel of 12 international jury members, presenting Bronze, Silver and Gold Diplomas, as well as a number of Outstanding Awards. Each choir will also have an opportunity to meet online, one-to-one, with a jury member of the category competition, receiving results and valuable feedback (tentative date: late March 2022).
• Phase 2 is an Online Choir Festival (dates: 11 & 12 June 2022). Activities include: official announcement of results, presentation of specially recorded/edited concerts and masterclasses videos, as well as a Final Competition where a panel of over 70 international jury members will vote for the Grand Prizes and Cash Awards of the Festival.

Registration fees

• For choirs (one category): US$30 per singer, conductor, accompanist
• For choirs (for each extra category): a flat fee of US$600 for the whole choir regardless of no. of singers
• For individual delegates: US$120 per person
