DESCRIPTION:Young aspiring musicians from the acclaimed band, choirs and orchestras of the Music Office will join hands, and showcase their musical growth and talent in this yearly music celebration.\nOutstanding trainees and performing groups’ members will also be awarded for their brilliant performances in the past year. A diverse east-meets-west programme includes the choral work “The Heaven are Telling” from Haydn’s oratorio The Creation, the band overture Shanghai overwhelmed with oriental folk charisma, the Splendorous Jiangnan interweaving the Chinese traditional aura with the present-day content and prosperity, Mozart’s string classic Adagio and Fugue in C Minor, and the symphonic work La Procession du Rocio depicting a festive mise-en-scene in Spain.\n
