DESCRIPTION:\nDirected by Brian Kay\nA summer school where the focus is on all things choral\n‘The singing just seems to get better and better each year.’ So said Brian Kay after the 2022 Summer School performance of Morten Lauridsen’s Lux aeterna and Haydn’s Harmoniemesse.\nFor 2023, our mainstream work for study is Mendelssohn’s Hymn of Praise, coupled with the contemporary, but equally singable, setting of Dixit Dominus by Clive Osgood. Comfortable accommodation and delicious food are provided on the Warwick University campus, and the closing concert will be in the wonderful space of All Saints’ Church, Leamington Spa, accompanied by the English Symphony Orchestra.\nVisit The Really Big Chorus website to find out more about what is on offer during the week, and join us for a musical oasis in what is often a chorally dry summer.\n\n
