SUMMARY:Selfmademusic Residential Choral Course
DESCRIPTION:Selfmademusic is offering upper voiced (current and ex) choral scholars a free residential course of singing and career development on the North Norfolk Coast this summer.\nMany Selfmade singers go on to distinguished careers such as Ros Dobson, RCM and Alex Otterburn, ENO.\nThe course concludes with two concerts with full orchestra. The programme includes Susannah Self’s Revelations of Divine Love composed during her 2022 Aldeburgh Residency. Performance venues are: Cley Church and Binham Priory in Norfolk.\nSchedule\nThe schedule consists of a weekend in July and a week in September.\n1st weekend: 15-17 July Arrive 6.00pm Friday 15, leave 6.00pm Sunday 17\n2nd week: 12-18 September Arrive Monday 12 evening; rehearsals 13 to 16; performances: Saturday 17 September 7.30pm and 18 September, 3.00pm; leave 6.00pm Sunday 18\nApplications\nTo apply send your CV and video of your singing to Michael Christie, selfmademusic@aol.com.\n
